Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites applications from eligible candidates
for the posts of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs, Assistant Sub-Inspector
in CISF and Intelligence Officer in NCB, the notification regarding this has
been issued in the Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar dated 16-03-2013.
The Commission will hold and All India Examination for recruitment of
these posts. The minimum educational qualification for these posts is a
Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its
equivalent. The Examination will comprise of Written Examination in two phases-
Physical Endurance Test, Medical Examination and Interview/personality test.
The interested candidates can apply in ONLINE mode through the link provided on
the official website of SSC and can also download the prescribed Application
Format from the link given at the end of this post. The candidates are advised
in their own interest to go through the detailed instructions contained in the
Notice carefully. The brief details are as under :
Total Number of Posts : 2240 posts
- Sub-Inspector in CAPFs: 1176 posts
- Sub-Inspector in CRPF: 234 posts
- Sub-Inspector in ITBP: 136 posts
- Sub-Inspector in CISF: 314 posts
- Sub-Inspector in SSB : 68 posts
- Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF : 734 posts
- Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police (Male Candidates) : 330 posts
Educational
Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from any recognized
university or its equivalent. Candidates who apply for Sub-Inspector Posts in
Delhi Police, should have valid Driving License for LMV (Motor Cycle and Car).
Age
limit: Candidates age should be between 20 years to 25 years as on 01 January
2013. (Relaxation
in Age as per govt rules.)
Application
fee : Rs. 100/- for General candidates. Fee exempted from SC / ST /
Ex-Servicemen / Women candidates.
How
to Selection: Selection will be done on the basis of Written Test, which is
divided in two phases:
- Phase-I : Physical Endurance Test, Medical Examination
- Phase-II : Interview / Personality Test
How to Apply: Candidates
are required to Online Apply through Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Online
portal. Follow below instructions for online registration.
- Candidates first log on to www.ssconline.nic.in
- Then click on Examination Link, then click on Part-I Registration Option
- Fill all mandatory fields, then click on "I Agree" button.
- Take Print out of application form for future reference.
- Pay application fee through Offline / Online Mode
- Upload your recent passport size photo and scanned signature.
- After successfully submission of applications, take print out.

- Last date for Part-II Registration : 12 April 2013
