Description - Associate Test Engineer will be an integral member of the team that builds NCR's award-sinning products and services.
- Software Design and Specification - Prepare test strategy and design test cases
- Test Management - Assist project manager for preparing test plan and effort estimation
- Unit Testing - establish unit test readiness position
- Testing - Rigorous testing to ensure that product meets the business requirements
- Report and track defect for resolution
Qualification:
- Any engineering graduate
- 0-2 years experience in Software Testing
- BS and / or MS degree in Computer Sc. (or equivalent)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in the software development process, software testing life cycle and software configuration management as they relate to the process.
- Can work with minimal guidance and show initiative.
- Work on projects of medium to high complexity, and exercise judgement within defined procedures & practices to determine appropriate action
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good resource and time management skills to successfully work on and drive multiple tasks at one time
